A meeting of the Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Football Association took place, which considered and approved a number of decisions.
In particular, the UAF Executive Committee supported draft decisions regarding the launch of football competitions in the 2023/2024 season (UPL, PFL, Ukrainian Cup, women's competitions, futsal, amateurs, DUFL). The regulations of all competitions will soon be posted on the website of the Ukrainian Football Association.
In addition, the executive committee voted in favour of Serhiy Rebrov's initiative, supported by the UAF National Teams Committee, to appoint Unai Melgosa as head coach of the youth national team. It should be noted that Ruslan Rotan will continue to work with the UAF as the head coach of the Olympic team.
The UAF Executive Committee also approved the lists of stadiums for the UPL, PFL and women's clubs' all-Ukrainian competitions in the 2023/2024 season. The lists of stadiums will be published on the UAF website in the relevant section.
In addition, the UAF Executive Committee approved the Plan for the Implementation of the VAR System in Ukraine and the work of UAF match officials with it, as well as the Regulations on the application of the VAR system in football competitions among professional teams in the 2023/2024 season.
