Greek fans are generally satisfied with the victory over Dnipro-1, but many note that the team did not always play confidently, and the ending was tense. Before the game, few people imagined what to expect from the Ukrainian club, but such a weak performance of Dnipro-1 surprised many people. After all, they expected more from the vice-champion of Ukraine. After this victory, the Greeks are confident that Panathinaikos are 99 per cent through to the next round, but they are unlikely to get past Marseille.

Santamouris: Of all Ukrainian clubs I remember only Dynamo. Back then it was a very strong team, which could play on equal terms with European grandees. I do not follow Ukrainian football, but I am surprised that such a big country has such a weak championship. Perhaps the war influenced it, but Dnipro 1 is a very weak team. I would say simply: Dnipro-1 is not Dynamo. If it was interesting to play with the Ukrainians then, now the match turned out to be very easy for us.
Papathanasiou: I think that the final result is fair. "Panathinaikos" played better, but not so much to get a crushing victory. And at the end we really relaxed too early and started to miss the Ukrainian attacks. We created problems for ourselves on the spot.
Koparis: It was a very easy victory. Panathinaikos played so calmly and confidently only in matches with outsiders in the Greek league. I didn't think we would be lucky to face such a weak opponent in the Champions League.
Ftanos: The first half was good. We should have pressed the Ukrainians more actively and scored the second goal, then the game would have been calmer in the second half.
Maxairidis: In general it was seen how important it is to have players with experience in good leagues, at a good age, and with the desire to win, to get to the Champions League. In this match without experienced players we wouldn't have won so easily, so Panathinaikos' transfer strategy paid off.
Tzatzola: The victory was good, it made us all proud of the team, but we have to play with concentration, professionally and at a high level for all 90 minutes. Instead of 3-0 we almost got 3-2. Fortunately, the level of Dnipro-1 players is not high enough for them to take advantage of our mistakes at the end of the match.
Filis: The prospects of the team are very high, and the new players are starting to show it. The first match in the new season is always difficult. But I liked the game of the team, there were a lot of positive moments. But, of course, it was not without mistakes.
Mandronis: I wrote right after the draw with Dnipro-1 that I am sure that Panathinaikos will qualify for the next round and secure at least the Europa League! Even yesterday I wrote additionally that I was 100% sure that they would win and go through! And so it turned out to be. But with Marseille, alas, will not be able to play so easily and calmly, there is an opponent of a different level.
Taki: Panathinaikos had a bad match. Both teams are far from their optimal form. Fortunately, our club has a lot of technical and experienced players who helped us to get a positive result. But I still have a lot of questions about the quality of our team's play.
Santalidis: To beat Dnipro 1 and reach the next round was the minimum task for Panathinaikos. Fortunately, we managed to prove that we are stronger. The Ukrainians were even a little disappointing. There was a lot of talk about this team that they could surprise us, but in reality it turned out to be a very weak opponent.
Doukakis: Many people laughed a year ago about the team and the club management. Allegedly, we invited a lot of players, who are already at the end of their careers or have already disappointed everyone. Allegedly, we with this squad will not be able to qualify for anything. And what did we see? "Panathinaikos" plays in the Champions League and has no problem beating one of the best clubs in the Ukrainian championship. Do you want to apologise to the team?
Babanas: The coaching staff delayed with substitutions. We should have released fast players earlier and then the score could have been indecent. Instead, we could have conceded a goal and drawn 1-1. Then the mood would have been completely different for everyone. Fortunately, Dnipro-1 is just a weak team, which is not capable of playing quality football. Therefore, they could not give us big problems.
Nieris: Congratulations to the team for a good performance and, apparently, a fair qualification to the next round! I was confident in Panathinaikos' victory, but I thought it would be more difficult. Not so long ago, matches against Ukraine's second team would have been much more difficult, but the war has had a big impact on the quality of football in that country.
Aspro: Typical Panathinaikos. We scored one goal and decided that it would be enough. I can't remember the last time when our team won a match by 3 goals. I think it was last year. I do not like such tactics. The opponent was weak, we should have pressed them after the first goal and scored 1-2 more goals not to worry before the return match. It is good that the Ukrainians could not take advantage of our relaxation, and also started to help us score goals.
Nikac: Ukrainians scored a funny goal. It seems to me that all of them did not hit the ball and it surprised our players, who did not expect such a trick. Let Dnipro 1 rejoice that they did not lose "dry", but in reality they did not even score one goal.
Dsonsins: A good game and a good result. In the return match we need to win confidently too, and not think about defence. It will be much more difficult against Marseille, but I believe that we can beat the French.
Melistas: It's a pity that we conceded one goal at the end. If we had won 3:0, we could already think about the next round. But 3:1 is a result that should make the team think. Let's take our time and not think about Marseille. If we make such mistakes in Greece, as we did at the end of today's match, we can create unnecessary problems for ourselves.
Xepap: In modern football there is no huge difference between clubs from different countries. Unless we're talking about Manchester City, Bayern or Real Madrid. "Zalgiris drew with Galatasaray, Klaksvik beat Ferencvaros in the last round, HIK beat Moulde... We could go on. You can be the favourite, but it doesn't mean much if you can't prove it on the pitch. That's why it was very important to win today.
Koustoubardis: Let's not jump to conclusions. The main thing is that we won and now we have a very good chance to reach the next round. But the team definitely has something to work on, there were a lot of mistakes in defence, which will definitely be used by a stronger opponent. With "Marseille" will be much more difficult. But thanks for the victory over the Ukrainians, now we can relax a bit.
