On Saturday, 29 July, as part of the 1st round of the Ukrainian Youth Championship, Dynamo Kyiv hosted Minaj Zakarpattia at the club's country club base in Vita-Litovska.

The match predictably began with attacks by Ihor Kostiuk's men. Matkevych made a dangerous header, but the goalkeeper caught the ball, Korobov missed the goal from a distance, and Kuzyk failed to beat the goalkeeper from a deadly position.
It is worth noting that the guests did not sit back in defence, relying on counterattacks. In particular, after a solo pass, Vyshynskyi could have scored, but missed the goal, and in another episode, only Balaba's successful actions saved the White and Blues from trouble.
Finally, in the 28th minute, Dynamo managed to open the scoring. After a cross from the flank, Kuzik made a great shot on goal, which was a difficult task for the goalkeeper, and the ball flew into the net - 1-0.
In just a few minutes, Dynamo managed to double their lead. Ponomarenko, having just come on as a substitute, successfully responded to Gerich's pass and put his name on the score sheet - 2-0. Shortly before the break, Matvey had another great opportunity to score, but after his header from close range, the crossbar saved the opponents.
However, the forward managed to score a double shortly after the game resumed. Ponomarenko received the ball on the flank, moved to the centre and forced the goalkeeper to capitulate with a shot into the near corner - 3-0.
In general, the job was done, and the White and Blues could play the rest of the game to their heart's content. The visitors tried to score at least a prestige goal, but could come up with nothing but banal throws into the White and Blues' penalty area, while Surkis was reliable in his own possession.
And just before the final whistle, Husev could have scored the fourth goal, connecting on a corner kick, but after his header, the goal frame saved the Transcarpathians for the second time in the match, this time the crossbar.
As a result, 3-0 - a confident start for Ihor Kostiuk's wards in the new season of the championship among youth teams.
