- Based on what I've seen in pre-season, I consider Dynamo to be a slight favourite, despite their failures last season. They look much more cohesive on the pitch now. My wildcard for the season is Polesie. They have a team capable of giving a good fight against well-known UPL teams. Besides, they will have money in the winter to replenish their squad and extend their tone for a whole season. For Dnipro 1 it might be a tough campaign, if we draw conclusions from the match against Panathinaikos and analyse the second half of the 2022/2023 season. Given the changes in all teams (5-8), it's hard to predict exactly how they will progress, but they should still be in contention for 5th place.
As for the bottom half of the table, this was the hardest place to make predictions. Compared to other clubs that have been promoted to the UPL, Obolon have strengthened less - on paper, they probably have the weakest squad. Last season was difficult for Veres and Rukh. Unfortunately, I think it will continue in the 2023/2024 season," Todos told Tribuna.
