Defender Oleksiy Sych, who returned to Rukh this summer, said that Belgian side Kortrijk did not buy his transfer after the loan period ended.
- "The terms of cooperation included an option that when I play a certain number of matches for Kortrijk, they are obliged to buy out the contract. Unfortunately, due to my injury, I did not reach this figure. Then there was another option: my performance suited Kortrijk and they bought me on their own initiative. This did not happen.
"Kortrijk is a football club with modest financial resources. And the amount of compensation stipulated in the contract - more than two million euros - was beyond his means. That's why he had to return to Lviv," said Sych.
