Today has given the world several famous people who have closely linked their lives with football:

Goran Gavrancic

Goran Gavrancic (1978) is a former Serbian footballer who played at the position of defender. He was brought up at domestic clubs Vinča and Crvena Zvezda. At one time defended the colours of Dynamo Kyiv. He is a four-time champion and winner of the Ukrainian Cup. He played 31 matches in the national team of Serbia and Montenegro, but did not score any goals.

Stefan Effenberg (1968) - legendary German midfielder. Played for many German clubs, but the greatest success was achieved in Bayern Munich. Three-time German champion. Winner of the Champions League 2000/01. As a member of the German national team he played 35 matches, scored 5 goals. Silver medallist of the European Championship in 1992. At one time Effenberg was suspended from the matches of the German national team for the middle finger shown to the fans of the "Bundestim". After that incident, Stefan played only two friendlies for the national team.

Fernando Couto (1969) is a former Portuguese footballer who played as a centre-back. He defended for such clubs as Porto, Parma, Lazio and Barcelona. He won championships in Italy, Spain and Portugal. At one time was the captain of the Portuguese national team, in which he played 110 matches and scored 8 goals.
