Thieves who robbed former Shakhtar and national team player detained in Zakarpattia

In Zakarpattia, criminals who robbed the house of Oleksandr Kucher, a well-known Ukrainian former Shakhtar player and now head coach of Dnipro-1, were caught.

Literally: "According to the investigation, two members of the criminal group committed thefts from private homes in Zakarpattia region. They were carefully preparing to commit the crimes. They used special equipment to monitor the future target. To avoid being detected, they travelled on roads without video surveillance and used other methods of secrecy.

One of the victims was a former player of the Ukrainian national football team and FC Shakhtar Donetsk. A significant amount of valuables and money were stolen from his house."

Details: According to the UP, the victim of the thieves was Oleksandr Kucher, a former player of the national team and FC Shakhtar Donetsk. In total, the thieves caused more than $500,000 in damage to the victims. The two offenders were served a notice of suspicion of stealing property (Part 4 of Article 185 of the Criminal Code).

During the searches, the law enforcement officers found and seized the stolen property. They have been detained as a measure of restraint.
