The transfer of Oleksandr Nazarenko from Dnipro-1 to Polesie cost Zhytomyr club 200 thousand euros.
Such a low cost for the bronze medalist of the youth Euro is due to the fact that the player had 5 months of agreement with Dnipro-1 and he already had a preliminary contract with Polesie, which was to come into force on 1 January 2024.
"Polesie" needed another wing player to replace Vladyslav Vakula, who would be dismissed from the team, so they decided to speed up the transfer and not wait for the second round.
"Dnipro-1" wanted to sign a new contract with Nazarenko, but could not agree on terms. After that the player was transferred to the youth team. In Zhytomyr, Oleksandr will receive twice the salary that he had at Dnipro-1 and a lifting fee.
