Dmytro Yesin: "Vorskla will be happy with a draw"

Former Vorskla midfielder Dmytro Yesin told Komanda1 about today's return match between Poltava and Dila in the qualifiers for the Conference League.

Dmitry Yesin

- Dmytro, what areyour impressions of Vorskla's opening match of the new season?

- Before the conceded goal, Dila had the initiative. And after the 60th minute, I liked Viktor Skrypnyk's team. The Poltava team seemed to have changed. They started attacking more, being more aggressive, and as a result managed to turn the game in their favour.

- However, Vorskla's personnel potential is not all right... To what extent can this affect theteam's performance in the return leg?

- It's important that none of the guys are injured. Therefore, I think that the line-up will be approximately the same as in the first game. Although, of course, there is a problem, as the coach does not have much choice to manoeuvre. I am glad that we won the game. Now Vorskla will be happy with a draw to move on. But we shouldn't forget that Dila lost the last round away 2-1, and took revenge at home 2-0... We have to be careful.

- In terms of percentage, does the Ukrainian team have a better chance of final success?

- Yes, but you can't concede a quick goal, it can psychologically break the Poltava team. Again, if Vorskla shows the game they played in the second half of the second half in the first leg, then we don't have to worry about the overall success.

- Then what is your prediction for the returnleg?

- I don't think we'll see any productive football in Georgia. I think the game will end in a 1-1 draw.
