Shakhtar newcomer Dmytro Chygrynskiy told how he accepted the offer to return to the Donetsk club.
"After Shakhtar's game with Metalist 1925, in which, unfortunately, Valeriy Bondar got injured, in the evening of the same day I received a call from Dario, we had a chat and reached an agreement. Of course, I do not look at this situation in such a way that I was invited as a temporary help because of Valeri's injury.
The way I look at it is that I worked long, long and hard to get this chance even at this age. That's why I'm glad I'm here. My task, as I said, is to help Shakhtar achieve their goals, to be useful.
So I didn't think much - it wasn't an invitation, in fact, the conversation was for 20 seconds. The question was: "Well, Chigi, are you ready?". I answered, "Ready. When do you leave?" And that's it," Chygrynskiy said.
