Former Italy goalkeeper Gianluigi Buffon has announced his return to the national team in a tweet.
"I'm returning to the national team because that kid who first stepped over the threshold of Coverciano 30 years ago still wants to dream and live that dream with the Italian fans," Buffon wrote.
The legendary goalkeeper did not specify in what role he will again represent the Scuadra Azzurra.
