Roma midfielder Nemanja Matic wants to continue his career in the French Ligue 1.
According to Footmercato, the 35-year-old has asked the owners of the Roman club to let him go to Rennes, who have offered him a three-year contract with a salary of three million euros per season. The Romans are ready to let the Serbian midfielder go if the negotiations with Leandro Paredes have positive results.
It will be recalled that Matic's current deal with Roma expires in the summer of 2024.
