Dynamo Kyiv captain Serhiy Sydorchuk spoke to the media before the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League against Greek Aris on Thursday, 10 August in Thessaloniki.
- Tomorrow's match will have a full house, while in the return leg in Bucharest you will not be playing at home. How much will this fact affect your team and the overall result of the match?
- This is not a new situation for us. Last year we were in a similar situation. Now nothing has changed in Ukraine, the war is still on. But I believe that we will have good support in Bucharest, where many Ukrainians who fled the war live.
The main problem for us is the difficult road to Thessaloniki, which took 23 hours in total. It's hard.
But at the same time, in Ukraine we play in empty stadiums, and playing in front of full stands is like a new sport for us. We are trying to demonstrate our best qualities, and I hope we will be able to do so in both matches.
Сарказм, панове.
Грайте, хлопці та вигравайте. Ми ж - ДИНАМО. Навіщо ми на цьому святі життя, якщо з Арісом вже шукаємо відмазки?
