Ihor Tsyhanyk: "Dnipro-1 in Prague must play for the result, avoid failure like in the first game against Panathinaikos

Famous Ukrainian journalist and commentator Ihor Tsyhanyk has made a prediction for the Slavia Prague vs Dnipro-1 Europa League qualifying match.

"In my opinion, Slavia is stronger than Panathinaikos. Indeed, Dnipro-1 faced a difficult opponent in the Europa League qualifiers. And then the fate of the draw will bring the winner of the duel with Zorya in the next round.

The Czechs are strong at home, they have a fairly young and well-coordinated team, with big players. A difficult trip is expected for Dnipro, but now without Artem Dovbyk in front of them, they must first of all play for the result in Prague, to avoid failure, as in the first game against Panathinaikos.

I expect a power football game with a lot of set pieces, a lot of struggle. If Dnipro-1 can keep the ball down and prevent the opposition from taking advantage of free areas, they will have a chance. The signings of Lednev and Filippov are good, but they are unlikely to play in this game.

I would hazard a guess that there will be a 1-1 draw," Tsyganik said.
