Manchester City's head coach Josep Guardiola said it would be impossible for the Citizens to repeat last season's treble.
"This happens once in a lifetime. It will be impossible to repeat what we did last season. We conquered the highest mountain, but two days later we came down to earth and now we are starting all over again.
Everyone has the same intentions, it will be harder to reach the top now. Our football, our level, our mentality will dictate what the season will be like," Guardiola was quoted as saying by Goal.
