Immediately after the end of the first match of the 3rd qualifying round of the Conference League against Greek Aris (0:1), which took place last Thursday in Thessaloniki, Dynamo Kyiv went to the local airport, from where they flew to Bucharest.
It is in the Romanian capital that Dynamo will be based for the next week, preparing for the return leg against Aris, which will take place here on Thursday, 17 August.
On the first day of their stay in Romania, the Kyiv team stayed in the town of Snagov near Bucharest, at the national sports complex (SCN Snagov), where they lived and trained last year, preparing for a series of international charity matches for peace.
On Friday evening, the team moved to Bucharest, first having an evening training session. Those players who had been in the starting line-up for the match against Aris the day before were limited to jogging and stretching on the field of the complex, after which they underwent recovery procedures.
The rest of the players took a club bus to the nearby Dinamo Bucharest training base, where they had a full two-hour training session. After jogging and warming up, the Dynamo players focused on working in squares with different tasks and intensity. Under the supervision of Mircea Lucescu, the players worked on teamwork and individual technique, practising ball control, pressing, combinations and finishing attacks.
