Manchester City will receive a substantial sum of money from the transfer of Romeo Lavia to Chelsea, journalist David Ornstein reports.
According to the source, Romeo Lavia is a graduate of the Manchester City academy. Last summer, the Belgian moved to Southampton for £10.5m, and the Citizens retained a percentage of the player's next sale. The day before, it became known that Chelsea had agreed a contract with the player. The Londoners will pay about €70 million for Lavia, including bonuses. Manchester City will receive €12.4 million from this transfer.
