March scored two quick goals in the 51st and 55th minutes, giving Brighton an unassailable 4-0 lead. In the 55th minute, Wolves decided to make some changes, hoping to salvage something in this match. F. Silva and Joao Gomes were replaced by Hwang Hee Chan and P. Sarabia respectively.
However, Brighton continued to control the game, showing their superiority. In the 61st minute, the Wolves finally managed to get back on track as Hwang Hee Chan scored, giving the home side a glimmer of hope. However, disappointment grew when Hwang Hee Chan received a yellow card just two minutes later. Brighton's Joao Pedro also found himself on the bench in the 64th minute. Wolves tried to turn the tide of the match by making a fourth substitution: in the 87th minute, R. Ait Nouri replaced J. Bueno. Tension flared in the final stages of the match as M. Kilman and Mateus Nunes received yellow cards in the 88th and 90th minutes respectively. In the 90th minute, Mateus Nunez was sent off with ten men on the pitch and Brighton's A. Webster was on the bench in the final minutes of the match, completing a string of yellow cards received throughout the match. After the final whistle "Brighton" won a convincing victory over "Wolverhampton Wanderers" with a score of 4:1. The match demonstrated the superiority of "Brighton", using all the advantages of their attack. In turn, "Wolves" could not resist the opponent and suffered a complete defeat on their field. This result will undoubtedly serve as a wake-up call for Wolves, who need to rebuild and reconsider their future strategy in the Premier League.
