On 20 August one of the matches of the 1st round of the Italian football championship took place. Udinese (Italy) and Juventus (Turin) met.

In an exciting Serie A match at the Friuli Stadium, Udinese hosted Juventus. Both teams showed their talent and determination, but it was Juventus who won 3-0. Danilo also received a yellow card in the 35th minute. Just before the break, Adrien Rabiot scored a goal in the 45th minute, further increasing Juventus' advantage. The first half ended with Udinese desperately trying to get back from a three goal deficit. At halftime, both teams made strategic changes to turn the tide of the match.
Juventus replaced V. McKennie and N. Faggioli with T. Vea and F. Miretti respectively. Udinese also made two substitutions, replacing H. Camara and O. Zarra respectively. Camara and O. Zarraga for J. Zemura and L. Samara. Zemura and L. Samardzic. Despite the changes, there were fewer goals in the second half, but the substitutions continued. In the 57th and 66th minutes, F. Ebosele and F. Thauvin appeared instead of J. Ferreira and I. Success for Udinese respectively. Juventus also made a substitution: in the 70th minute A. Cambiaso came on in place of S. Ilinga Júnior. The match entered its final stage and both teams continued to make substitutions. In the 75th minute Beto replaced L. Lucca for Udinese, and in the 77th minute Juventus brought on A. Milik instead of F. Chiesa. In the 85th minute Juventus made their last substitution: D. Vlahovic replaced K. Yildiz. In the 90th minute, when the match was about to end, M. Locatelli received a yellow card, putting an end to this tense encounter. The match was a testament to the competitive nature of Serie A: "Juventus showed their skills and secured a convincing victory. Udinese fought back hard, but in the end could not overcome a strong Juventus team. Both teams will learn valuable lessons from this match to continue the fight in the championship.
