KubanovIt will be recalled that in accordance with the Regulations on the Procedure for the Application of VAR in the 2023/24 Season, UPL and PFL clubs must send a corresponding application no later than 9 days before the date of the meeting. If sufficient applications are not received from UPL clubs, the relevant UAF commission independently decides on the appointment of VAR for UPL matches for which no applications have been received from clubs. At the same time, the payment for the use of the VAR system is taken by the clubs that play home matches.
Previously, Polissia invited VAR to all their UPL matches. For example, in the away match against Dnipro-1 in the second round (1:2), the Zhytomyr club followed the same scheme as Oleksandriya - it covered 50% of the costs associated with the VAR system.
After four rounds of the Ukrainian championship, Oleksandriya is in fifth place with seven points. "Polissia is in eighth place with six points.
