"Roma have pulled out of talks with Atalanta over striker Duvan Zapata, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has claimed on Twitter.
The head coach of the Bergamo club, Gian Piero Gasperini, vetoed the sale of the 32-year-old. Negotiations with Wolves failed as the Atalanta manager managed to convince the Colombian to stay.
Earlier it was reported that Zapata was one step away from a loan to the Roman club with a €7m buyout option.
