Turkish Besiktas head coach Şenol Güneş said what he thinks about his team's first match against Dynamo Kyiv in the play-off round of the Conference League qualification, which will take place today in Bucharest.
"We know the strength of our opponent. "Dinamo also knows us. We will have to play against a dynamic team made up of both experienced and young players. Both matches will be difficult. But we will make efforts to qualify for the group stage - we really want to fulfil this task.
We are confident in our abilities, and all the players who have travelled for the upcoming match are fully prepared. The same applies to all our newcomers. We will use them if necessary.
All our thoughts now are exclusively about the matches with Dynamo. We have analysed our opponent well and, hopefully, it will help us to achieve the necessary result. But in any case, only the first part of our confrontation with Dynamo will take place on Thursday. For sure, everything will be decided in Istanbul," Gunesh said at the pre-match press conference held yesterday in Bucharest.
