On Thursday, 24 August, in the first play-off match of the Conference League qualification round Dynamo Kyiv lost to Turkish Besiktas with the score 2:3. The meeting was nominally home for the Ukrainian team, but because of the war it was held in Bucharest at the stadium "Giulesti".
