Turkish Besiktas defender Omar Kolli summarised the results of his team's first match against Dynamo Kyiv (3:2) in the play-off round of the Conference League qualification, in which he authored one of the goals against the Bilo-Syni.
"I am very happy. But the match was tough. We played well as a team and knew how to beat Dynamo. In such difficult matches, the key importance is the realisation of goal chances, because the price of each scored goal is very high. In this respect, we showed ourselves perfectly today!
Of course, I am happy to contribute to this victory with my goal. I hope I will be able to score against Dynamo in the return match.
This victory is important on our way to the group stage of the Conference League. Everything is in our hands, we can solve this task. We give 100 per cent in every game. We try our best to succeed at every stage. If we play the same way in Istanbul as we did today, I am sure we will play in the main net of the tournament," Kolli said after the match with Dynamo.
