"Barcelona has announced on its official website that it has extended its contract with goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen.
The German goalkeeper's new deal runs until 2028. The 31-year-old's contract now includes a release clause of €500 million.
It is worth noting that ter Stegen gave up a significant part of his salary for the first two years of the contract so that the club could meet the financial requirements of the Spanish La Liga. The player will receive this money for the last three years of the deal.
