Well-known manager and expert Vyacheslav Zakhovailo commented on the results of the first play-off match of the Europa League qualification round between Czech Slavia and Luhansk Zoria (0:2), which took place last Thursday in Prague.
"Watched the game with my own eyes. What caught my eye. The tactical plan for the game "Zorya" chose a viable and justified. "Slavia" created a lot of 100 per cent goal situations. But I do not think that they were lucky in these moments. Reliable play of the goalkeeper and quality back-up saved in these situations.
In attacking actions Zorya could not realise the coach's idea. The reason - lack of skill, or rather quality opposition from the opponent. It would be fair to say that two teams of different levels met. But the dedication of Zorya players was prohibitive, for which the team deserves praise.
