Former Dynamo and Ukraine head coach Jozsef Szabo assessed the first match of the Conference League play-offs between Dynamo and Besiktas.
- "I said before the game that Dynamo would lose and not get past Besiktas. Today, Beşiktaş is a decent team. Yes, Dynamo played well, but you can't jump over your head. The game was good, it's a pity that Kyiv lost. Again, I don't like the refereeing. I don't understand why Dynamo is treated like this in certain European Cup matches. I don't know why Dynamo's goal was cancelled. Whatever the game, we have gross mistakes by the referees.
It is also impossible to go back two steps and say: there was a violation, there was offside. I don't understand these new rules, when a player is offside by five metres, this position is not fixed - they let the game go on, the players play and score. The goal is cancelled and disputes begin. If there is a violation, it must be fixed immediately.
I don't think Dynamo will win in Turkey. "Beşiktaş will not sit on the defensive, the stands will drive them forward and the Turkish team will win this confrontation. Kyiv are making a lot of mistakes right now. This is primarily the fault of those who coached the boys, because they need to work with them constantly. Today, any footballer must be able to take the ball away, and Dynamo have a midfielder who cannot do this. In big football, you need to be able to do everything. This team is not Dynamo yet," said Sabo.
