West Ham showed their dominance in a thrilling Premier League match against Brighton at the American Express Community Stadium. The game was filled with goals, yellow cards and strategic substitutions, leaving fans on edge. The start of the game was very tense for both teams, but it was West Ham who drew first blood. Already in the 19th minute, James Ward-Prowse struck the opponent's goal, providing the team with a decisive advantage. Brighton tried to level the score, but the defence of "West Ham" staunchly held the defence, not giving any chance. Yellow cards started to appear in the 24th minute when Ward-Prowse was cautioned for a careless tackle. Brighton tried to get back into the game, but their efforts were stifled by West Ham's well-organised midfield and defence. Near the end of the first half, West Ham made a substitution in the 39th minute. Tomasz Soucek came on in place of Said Benrahma, energising the attack. However, just before the break the game heated up when West Ham's E. Alvarez received a yellow card for a dangerous attack. The second half started with West Ham maintaining a one goal lead, but it didn't stop there.
In the 58th minute, Jarrod Bowen struck, doubling West Ham's lead and putting Brighton in a difficult position. The home side immediately responded with two substitutions in the 60th minute. Danny Welbeck came on in place of Joao Pedro and Billy Gilmour replaced Adam Lallana. However, in the 63rd minute, West Ham showed their attacking prowess once again. Michail Antonio capitalised on a defensive error to give his side a 3-0 lead. In the 72nd minute, Brighton made two more substitutions, bringing on Joel Veltman and Solly March in an attempt to turn the tide of the match. In the 79th minute, West Ham decided to shake things up by making a second substitution. Antonio was replaced by young talent Tilo Kehrer. However, Brighton were not going to give up and in the 81st minute Pascal Gross scored a consolation goal. As time waned, West Ham made two late substitutions. In the 84th minute, Alvarez replaced Pablo Fornals and in the 85th minute, Lucas Paqueta replaced Danny Ings who scored. In the final minutes of the game the tension was building as Brighton's K. Mitoma and West Ham's T. Kehrer received yellow cards in the 88th and 89th minutes respectively. The final whistle sounded, and West Ham United won a clear victory. Excellent attack, solid defence and smart substitutions ensured a 3-1 victory over unyielding Brighton. The match demonstrated the competitive nature of the Premier League and the skill of both teams.
