Manchester United head coach Erik ten Hag commented on the Red Devils' incredible victory in the Premier League match against Nottingham Forest in Matchday 3.
"It was a terrible start, but the team showed tremendous character. We remained calm and focused. We believed in ourselves, stuck to the plan, played good football and scored three magnificent goals. A brilliant comeback.
With all due respect to Nottingham Forest, you can't let that team score goals like that. We just gave them two goals. It's crazy, but sometimes matches turn out like that.
As I said, we remained calm. This is indicative. We've already seen that this team is capable of coming back. If you start a match, you need to turn the tide. It's not easy, so I pay tribute to the players. We have character. We can definitely tighten some things up, but overall this team has the character to come back at any time," said Erik ten Hag on the BBC.
