Ukrainian newcomer Ruslan Malinovskyi played his first match for Genoa yesterday.
The 30-year-old midfielder was included in the starting line-up of Genoa for the away match of the 2nd round of the Italian championship with Lazio. Malinovskyi failed to distinguish himself in his debut match for Genoa, but in the 61st minute of the game received a yellow card for a flagrant foul. Nine minutes later the Ukrainian was substituted.
