Former Dynamo Kyiv striker Fran Sol, who moved from the Ukrainian club to AEK Cyprus at the beginning of July, has opened the goal count for his new team. Moreover, he did it very effectively, having made a poker.
The 31-year-old footballer made a goal extravaganza in yesterday's match of the 2nd round of the Cypriot championship with Etnikos. The ex-Dinamo player scored goals to any taste. Twice Sol sent the ball into the opponent's goal with a header, once he spectacularly shot from the turn and, finally, the Spaniard realised a penalty.
Surprisingly, Sol's efforts were not enough for AEK to win - the match ended with a rare for football score, 5:5, and already in the first half the teams scored eight goals!
