Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku was at the centre of a tangled game of transfer chess this summer that culminated in his loan move to Roma.
A call from Wolves head coach Jose Mourinho convinced the Belgian forward to join the Roman club. According to The Independent, last week the coach personally called Romelu with the words: "We have a good team, but we lack a champion."
Lukaku's one-year loan will cost Roma €15.6 million, including €9.8 million in wages and €5.8 million in Chelsea's loan fee.
