Shakhtar CEO Serhiy Palkin has expressed his opinion on the competition in the Ukrainian league.
- In the European leagues there are clubs that win perhaps 70 per cent of all league games. But in our championship 15-20 years ago the situation was different. Then Shakhtar became stronger and started winning. We also worked hard and received investments. But this season, for example, nobody knows who will become the champion of Ukraine. We have at least five contenders," Palkin told The Athletic.
