On Thursday, 31 August, in the return play-off match of the Conference League qualification round Dynamo Kyiv lost 0:1 away to Turkish Besiktas and were eliminated from the tournament on the sum of two meetings (2:3, 0:1). Here is the post-match press conference of the head coach of the Ukrainian team Mircea Lucescu.
Mircea Lucescu- After many years, you came back again to the Besiktas stadium. How do you like the atmosphere?
- Yes, I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the stadium, it's incredible. But I also invested in this stadium during my two-year contract with Besiktas.

- I don't know why that happened. But it shows that he is well-mannered and educated.
- What tactics did you have for the match?
- In general, we had different tactics for the two halves. In the first half we played in one way, in the second half - in a different way. "Besiktas" opened the score, and after that its experienced players kept the desired result. After the conceded goal, our players, pupils of Dynamo academy, had to give their all for the result, but again made mistakes in defence.
- You know the Turkish league well. What can you say about the team based on the two matches played against Besiktas?
- I do not discuss other people's teams. "Besiktas" spent a lot of money, they have experienced players, and in this respect it is very difficult for us to compete with them. But I am proud of my players, even with such a strong opponent they played honourably and represented their country on the international stage.
