Yarmolenko has avoided surgery and has a chance to play for the Ukraine national team in matches against England and Italy

Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Andriy Yarmolenko, who missed both of his team's matches against Turkish Besiktas in the Conference League qualification due to problems with the inner lateral ligament of the knee, may return to the pitch in the very near future.

Journalist Mikhail Spivakovsky told the YouTube channel TaToTake that a medical examination carried out on the 33-year-old footballer in a foreign clinic showed that he does not need surgery.

"There are chances that Yarmolenko will be able to attend the next training camp of the Ukrainian national team as a full-fledged unit. But it should be understood that Andriy now needs a certain approach, with him we need to work on individual schedules," - added the journalist.

We shall remind you that today the Ukrainian national team will begin preparations for Euro 2024 qualifying matches with England (9 September) and Italy (12 September). Yarmolenko spent the last 10 days in Belgrade, where he underwent rehabilitation in the clinic of Andre Milutinovic.
