The Ukrainian national team continues preparations in Poland for the Euro 2024 qualifying matches against England (9 September) and Italy (12 September). On Sunday evening, the British Vitalii Mykolenko, Mykhailo Mudryk and Ilya Zabarnyi and the newly-minted Spaniard Roman Yaremchuk arrived at the Blue and Yellows' camp, so the team has grown significantly.
On Monday, the second day of the training camp in Poland, the Ukrainian national team started with a fitness session, divided into two groups.
Flexibility exercises, muscle stretching and body activation were offered by the national team's new and old physical training coach Vitaliy Kulyba, who returned to the national team's coaching staff after an 11-year pause. Vitaliy is well known to the players of Dynamo Kyiv, where he worked all this time.
Three other Ukrainian representatives of La Liga - Madrid's Andriy Lunin and Girona's Viktor Tsygankov and Artem Dovbyk - arrived at the national team's hotel in Tsebnytsia for lunch. And an hour before the start of the evening training session, Oleksandr Zinchenko, who, together with his partners from London's Arsenal, had won the Premier League 3-1 over Manchester United the day before, arrived. Sashko immediately joined the team. Of course, today Zinchenko, as well as Ilya Zabarnyi, who had a rather long journey to Wroclaw after playing a full match for Bournemouth, had a recovery session, but the most important thing is that the guys have already joined the work process.
Tomorrow, Serhii Kryvtsov will join the national team, having played 90 minutes in his Inter's 3-1 win over Los Angeles in the North American MLS.
