Serhii Kryvtsov: "I am sure we will see positive changes in the game of the national team of Ukraine in the next matches"

In an interview with the UPL TV telegram channel, Ukraine defender Serhii Kryvtsov told what he thinks about the matches against England (9 September) and Italy (12 September) in the Euro 2024 qualifiers.

- What was your mood when you arrived at the location of the Ukrainian national team?

- For me, every call-up to the national team is a great happiness and a great responsibility. I am always happy to represent my country on the international stage, especially in such a difficult time. In addition, it will give me the opportunity to see my friends and comrades, because now we are very far from each other. WhatsApp and FaceTime are good, of course, but a face-to-face meeting is much better.

- What is changing in the team under Rebrov's leadership?

- We haven't worked together for a long time yet, but everyone knows Serhii Stanislavovych as a very strong coach who achieves success and results. So, I am sure that the national team will not be an exception and we will see positive changes in the next matches.

- What can we expect from our main team in the matches against England and Italy?

- There is no need to talk once again about the strength of these teams. However, if we want to achieve great results, it is important to play the strongest teams as much as possible and get results in these matches. Everyone expects difficult games. After all, these teams have world-class players who play in the top championships.
