Obolon director Oleksandr Riznichenko told how the Kyiv club's management reacted to the erroneous decisions of the referee of the match of the 6th round of the Ukrainian championship Polesie vs Obolon.
- We officially appealed to the UAF and the Referees Committee with a request to assess the work of referee Viktor Kopievsky and his assistants, as well as episodes with the suspension of our key defender Taras Moroz and the penalty in the gate "Obolon". We are waiting for a response, we hope that justice will prevail.
In addition, I would like to inform you that in the match of matchday 6 "Kolos" - "Kryvbas" there were two game episodes very similar to the one where Moroz was punished with a second warning, but the referee Maksym Kozyryatskyy did not react. Also our FA decided to inform the UAF that Obolon refuses the services of the VAR system. In Ukraine, it functions exclusively at the expense of clubs, and there is no use for it. Moreover, it even harms, as it was shown by the match between Polesie and Obolon," Reznichenko said.
