Another training session of the national team of Ukraine in Poland ended with a photo shoot

The Ukrainian national team continues to prepare for the Euro 2024 qualifying matches against England (9 September) and Italy (12 September) in Poland. On Wednesday, the Blue and Yellows held two training sessions at the current training camp. The morning session took place at the "Fair play arena", which was built in Tsebovnytsia for Euro 2012 and was familiar to the players for the previous three days of the training camp.

The training session began with work at the speed stations, after which the coaching staff divided the team into two groups: one practised defensive actions, and the other - attacking.

For the evening training session, the national team travelled 30 km away to the town of Żmigród, to the stadium of MKS Piast, a team playing in the fourth league of the Polish championship. The pitch conditions and the small but cosy stadium itself made a positive impression on the Ukrainians.

During the evening session, the players focused more on teamwork in the context of the tactical models that the coaching staff is developing for the next game.

Students of a local football academy had the opportunity to watch the training session. The kids reacted to the successful actions of the Ukrainian players, shouting out the names of the players they knew well. The most frequently heard name was Mudryk. After the training session, the national teams took time to take pictures and leave their autographs for the young players.
