The High Anti-Corruption Court has imposed a custodial measure of restraint on the defendant in the case of seizure of Odesa International Airport. This was reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the HACC on Telegram.
According to RBC-Ukraine's sources, it is businessman Borys Kaufman.
"The investigating judge of the High Anti-Corruption Court imposed a preventive measure in the form of detention on the businessman from Odesa. The term of detention, taking into account the term of the pre-trial investigation, is until 29 October 2023 inclusive," the court said in a statement.
The HACC also clarifies that, as an alternative, the suspect was given the opportunity to post bail in the amount of UAH 268 million 400 thousand.
