- Gareth Southgate's team has several equivalent performers for each position. Unfortunately, this is not the case with our national team. But we need to understand the conditions we are in now. To count on a positive result in a game with such an opponent, we need to show our best football. Of course, we are inferior in terms of the quality of the game, but we can try to fight with the fight and movement. You can always find a gap in the opponent's defence.

If there is a positive result with England, it will be easier for the players to prepare for the second match against Italy in terms of morale. At the same time, it will be interesting to see what approach Serhii Rebrov will find to these two serious confrontations. The Ukrainian national team has a team, there are great players, but if one of the leaders drops out or is not in optimal condition, it often becomes a problem. We are very dependent on this.

But then again, when there are as many top-class performers as possible in the team, it is easier for the coach to implement his plans. We will jump over our heads if we take points from the British and Italians. It's hard for me to believe in the victory of the Ukrainian national team. However, I don't want to be pessimistic at all. If we manage to withstand the first quick attacks of the English, and manage to play compactly, especially when defending our goal, then the Yellow and Blues can cling to a draw. And it doesn't matter if it's a dry or a goal," Levchenko said.
