The day before, former Dynamo forward Kleber got into another scandal.
The ex-footballer on the outskirts of São Paulo attacked the employees of a petrol station. Eyewitnesses said Kleber was "visibly upset" and arrived "looking for trouble", pushing people outside the convenience store.
Kleber first pushed one employee outside, and when he went inside the establishment, he punched another employee in the face. Both victims had already gone to the police station and filed a report against the ex-Dynamo forward, but Kleber managed to flee the scene before the law enforcers got there.
However, the victims recorded the number of the car Kleber was travelling in. It turned out that the former footballer was using a rented car. The video, which captured the moment of the attack, is already with the police, who are now trying to find Kleber to take his statement.
The attack took place at a petrol station in an upscale area of São Paulo. Kleber is reportedly a regular at the place, as he lives less than a block away, a fact that frightens petrol station staff who fear a repeat of the incident or further reprisals from the ex-footballer.
In June this year Kleber's name already appeared in the press in connection with the scandal about the ex-Dinamo forward's failure to pay child support for one of his daughters. At that time, the Brazilian did not fulfil his obligations for more than a year, and the amount owed exceeded 116 thousand Brazilian reals (almost 22 thousand euros).
Recall, Kleber, who played for Dynamo from 2004 to 2009 (105 matches, 36 goals, 6 assists), finished his football career at the end of 2020 in the American club Austin Bould.
