Ukraine forward Roman Yaremchuk shared his thoughts on the Euro 2024 qualifying match with England (1:1).
- "The most important thing was to try to get points with this opponent, because England is a very high level team, one of the best in the world. We had to accept that we would have to work hard without the ball. If we didn't, we would most likely lose. So we accepted it, worked for each other and got a well-deserved point.
It was a difficult match, a lot of work without the ball. But the positive thing is that we got a draw. I had an injury at the last training camp and missed it. Of course, now I want to show results. But, based on the realities, I am on the right track, working for the team. And the goals will definitely come. We are very grateful to the fans for the incredible atmosphere," said Roman.
