According to the source, after undergoing additional examination, Lavia was found to have ligament damage. Thus, the Chelsea bosses seriously fear that the 19-year-old Belgian's debut will be postponed until the end of October at least.

Before the next international break in early October, Chelsea will play against Bournemouth, Aston Villa, Fulham, Burnley in the Premier League and Brighton in the League Cup.

We would like to remind you that in the summer, Romeo Lavia joined Chelsea for £58 million.
