The UAF press service has announced the reasons for the absence of Ukraine defender Mykola Matvien in the application for today's Euro 2024 qualifying match against Italy.
"The reason why Mykola Matvienko was not included in the matchday squad is an exacerbation of the chronic Achilles tendon problem. Yesterday, the player spent the entire training session at the San Siro, but the chronic problem does not allow him to be optimally prepared for the game," the statement said.
