The well-known commentator Ihor Tsyhanyk said that Dynamo were very interested in two defenders from Europe.

"Dynamo has been looking for a defender for a very long time. And they have almost signed an agreement with a Serbian footballer from Gorica. There was a lot written about him, but he simply didn't impress the scouts during the tests. Before the medical, he was supposed to run some speed exercises, but they saw that he had no speed. A centre-back without speed? Dynamo has enough of them, so there is no point in buying another such player.
