Paolo Maldini's eldest son retired at the age of 27

Former Milan Academy defender Christian Maldini has retired, reports Nicolo Scira.

The footballer turned 27 this year, his last teams were Lecco, Pro Sesto and Fano.

He trained and played in the academy of the Milan club from 2004 to 2016, after which he joined Reggiana as a free agent.

The source notes that Christian's next job will be with the agency of Beppe Riso, who, for example, represents the interests of Sandro Tonali, Davide Frattesi, Brian Cristante and other Italian footballers.

Christian is the eldest son of Paolo Maldini.

The younger one, Daniel, is currently playing on loan for Empoli. The rights to him belong to Milan.
