Help for Heroes and four-legged defenders of Ukraine

The full-scale war in Ukraine has been going on for more than a year and a half, and the heroic people who have stood up to defend our country need continuous daily support.

The FC Dynamo Kyiv and the Surkis Brothers Foundation receive various requests for humanitarian aid from our military almost every day. In yet another request from the Ministry of Defence, the Border Troops and the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine, our military requested a batch of sweet drinks. Having coordinated all the processes in the shortest possible time, the cargo was collected and sent to its destination in three trucks. And as a bonus, the border guards received more than a tonne of quality food for dogs, who also guard our peace and repel the attacks of the occupiers.

"The Surkis Brothers Foundation together with FC Dynamo Kyiv responded to another request from the military who are defending our country from the aggressor," says Maxim Radutskiy, Development Director of FC Dynamo Kyiv, "Iced tea, Coca-Cola, Fanta, Sprite are very popular among the defenders - these drinks cheer up and quench their thirst. This is not the first time we have been approached by the military with a similar request. We have previously sent six trucks to them, and the demand for them is constant. We tried to respond as quickly as possible and process the request, and now we are sending the cargo to its destination.

Also, since one of the trucks with drinks is going to the border troops, we do not ignore our smaller friends and send more tonnes of high-quality dog food to the dogs who selflessly defend our borders. So we try to satisfy absolutely all requests from our defenders.

And they come almost every day. We combine small requests into big ones, make one big one out of ten small ones, and fulfil it as quickly as possible. Every day, 24/7, we are in touch with the headquarters of the Ministry of Defence, the Border Troops, and other units with which we have been working directly since the third month of the war. We don't even need requests for this or that assistance anymore - we know what the military needs and deliver it to them without any requests."

The Surkis Brothers Foundation and FC Dynamo (Kyiv) continue to work together on a daily basis in the charity sector. The war is not over yet, so we need to unite for the sake of the main goal - the longed-for Victory and life in a peaceful, independent Ukraine.
