Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo has filed a lawsuit against Juventus of Turin. The reason for filing a lawsuit against the "Old Signora" - non-payment of wages during the coronavirus pandemic.
Ronaldo, 38, intends to recover the €19.9 million that remained unpaid to him by the club during the pandemic. The Portuguese wants the money he agreed not to take immediately during the quarantine.
Juventus reportedly signed agreements with some players during that period. The players agreed to take a pay cut in order to get the money unofficially after a time.
Cristiano Ronaldo, it will be recalled, played for Juventus from 2018 to 2021.
