'Expected to be a star'. British journalist named the championship, in which Mudryk can move to after the failure at Chelsea

Chelsea's Ukrainian winger Mykhailo Mudryk may continue his career in the German championship, British journalist Liam Toomey said in a podcast on The Athletic.

Toomey noted that Mudryk's game does not justify the hopes of Chelsea, which paid a huge sum for the Ukrainian. The journalist added that there is interest in the player from German clubs, where he can finally discover his potential.

"I recently spoke to several people who assured me - even if this season will be unsuccessful for Mudryk at Chelsea, there are clubs who are waiting for him and are ready to give him the opportunity to show his talent, restore his own value and confidence elsewhere. I have been told of the Bundesliga as a potential option. Given his speed and other strengths, it could be a good combination.

Chelsea expected Mudrick to be a star. But so far, Mudrick is nowhere near that level. It is more of an impression now that he is not suitable for this team," said Toomey.
